Why Is Certification Important?
Certification helps ensure that Acorn IT Group staff members are experts in their fields—people who really know how to use the powerful tools available and can find solutions to meet your needs. Certifications indicate that a given technician has, at the very least, a common understanding of standards, best practices, and procedures approved by the industry. Certified professionals know the right way to do things, and are much more likely to develop a solution to a problem that is secure, cost-effective, and oriented for future compatibility. Many uncertified people who work on computers are little more than hobbyists, with limited experience, little standards-based training, and no validation of their level of knowledge. If you want the best quality workmanship, the choice should be clear: use certified experts whenever possible to avoid problems in the future.

- CompTIA A+ Certification (A+)
- CompTIA I-Net+ Certification (I-Net+)
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet (MCP+I)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
In addition, our subcontracted consultants hold a variety of other certifications appropriate to their specific fields.
